1. What do I get?
   You get a Gigapixel designed site with a total of 6 pages (including homepage). We can tailor the navigation titles. You can put in content (information), images, and music.
   
   
2. Who pays for domain and hosting?
   We do. We are trying to make this process as easy for you as possible so you don't have to worry about anything.
   
   
3. What does the hosting include?
   What's necessary for a basic site. 500 MB of disk storage, 25 GB data transfer.
   
   
4. What does unique email account mean?
   You get a unique email name to go with your business/site. You get up to 25 unique email addresses and 10 forwards. For example: bob@bobstore.com
   
   
5. What is so special about these designs?
   BabyGigs designs were pre-designed by Gigapixel Creative's sought after creative director. BabyGigs was created for those who could not afford a Gigapixel Design but want something clean, sharp, and simple. Thought was put into each area of need.
   
   
6. What does color flexible mean?
   The colors of the sample site may be changed to some degree. You give us a general idea of color and we will choose the palette based on color compatibility.
   
   
7. What can I put in my site?
   Informational content (text), images (photographs), and music. No porn. You will be responsible and liable for the materials on your site.
   
   
8. What if I want more than 6 pages?
   It will be an extra $40/month for the next batch of 5 (1-5) billed for the first year only.
   
   
9. Where can I find pictures to use?
   Stock photography sites have lots of pictures that are quite inexpensive.

10. What do you mean by inserting up to 5 music files?
    This is best applied with musician sites or the like. You may have some music or pre-recorded dialog you would like played on the site. This can also be voice recordings as an mp3. You can be saying something on your site. You send us mp3 files and we'll put them up.
    
    
11. What if I want to include more than 5 music files?
    It will be an extra $10/month billed for the first year only. This is for batches of 5.
    
    
12. What is included in the update once a year?
    Once a year you can have content, images, or music files already on the site updated. No changes to the site design or layout.
    
    
13. What is included in the additional updates?
    Same as the once a year (question #12).
    
    
14. What if I don't want certain features - will the price be reduced?
    No. It's a flat rate covering what most people would need for a site. You do not need to use all the features. We put the general population's needs in mind.
    
    
15. What does business consulting include?
    A conversation about your business. An analysis of what you are trying to do and some creative solutions and contacts to help you out. Helping you plan, solve problems, and consider solutions.
    
    
16. What does unlimited edits mean (the $188/month package)?
    Once the site is set, there are predetermined areas with pictures and text. You can swap them out, putting in new pictures, new text, etc. We build you a system for you to modify your site on your own, so you don't have to call anyone.
    
    

Technical

1. How would you like me to send you files (text, images, music)?
   
   Acceptable file types are:
   
   • .zip Files
   • Images - .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .bmp
   • Video - .mpg, .avi, .swf
   • Music - as .mp3
   • Text - .txt, .doc
   
   A manual option is available for those who are having trouble with the online version. You must signup and pay the first month's fee. Login and a special email address will be provided for you to send your web site's content.
   
   Send text in a Word document broken down by the sections of the site with the corresponding text.
   
   Send the non-text files (images, video, etc) sorted by sections. Send each image separately with the subject line stating the name of your website and the section the photo goes. In the body of the email, provide any directions you may wish to give. Example: bobstore.com/about
   
   
2. What is search engine optimization?
   It is the optimization of a site to be searched by search engines. Many sites do not have this set up to even be found. The internet "spiders" search for content found on Web sites and particularly the home page. There are keywords inserted into coding of a site to allow these to be listed in searches. The ranking then depends on your traffic. It does also take 7 weeks for the spiders to find the content of a new site to update into a search engine.
   
   Web Spiders: a computer program used by search tools to search the Internet. The web spiders make a copy of each website they visit and send the copy back to the search tool web page database where it is indexed by the tool.
   
   
3. What does search engine optimization include here?
   You will have organic search engine optimization. The site will have keyword choices and metatagging to establish site searchability.
   
   
4. What is web site monitoring and statistics?
   Tables and charts that allow you to see how many people have come to your site, from which countries, been to what part of the site most, and the traffic based on time of day/week/month.
   
   

Getting started

1. Explain the process. You pick a design you like. We can change the colors broadly if you like. You provide us the material that you would like in your site. You pay the monthly fee. The site will be done and up in a few days.
   
   

Extras

1. Explain the additional services.
   We are trying to offer a low rate covering as many needs as possible. The majority of people want good design work and content up fast. We do understand there are some who need more features. So for an additional monthly fee we can add these features on without breaking the bank. We will only bill you for 1 year (12 months) to have these features included. After that you keep the features without additional billing - you go back to the base monthly fee.
   
   
2. What is a Flash intro? And what do I get?
   Some sites have an introduction before arriving at a site's homepage. It's best to keep these short. As you may have noticed, most intros also have a Ôskip intro' button. You would tell us what you would like to accomplish in this introductory moment and we will create something up to 5 seconds to put up. Do note that this would affect your searchability as Google searches the first page for the content. But you may find an intro necessary in your particular field. Do weigh the options.
   
   
3. What is a contact form? And why is it extra?
   Field boxes can be built into your contact page. It allows users to contact you via email directly from your site. Their message is then sent to you via email. It is extra because it requires additional programming.
   
   
4. What is a forum? And what do I get?
   A forum is a message board - an area where users can post comments, questions, or messages. You get a message board set up and integrated into your site. You can manage the board on your own through the administrator interface. Discussion topics can be set-up for the users as well.
   
   
5. What is a shopping cart (e-commerce)? And what do I get? How much is it?
   A shopping cart system allows you to sell items online. It ties the shopping process to a payment and billing area. The number of items for sale must be predetermined prior to start and linked to credit card processing. You will need to sign up with Paypal, Verisign, etc. before we can proceed. Please read their requirements carefully. Depending on what option you select, you may need to setup your bank account or merchant account or SSL certification (payment encryption). Different packages require different things.
   
   
6. What is a database? What do I get? How much is it?
   For the fancy people who want to use a web site to collect information. It would be compiled in a spreadsheet for easy review.
   
   This is compilation of information (data). This is tied into other features. It depends on what type of information you want to capture. For example: You may want to collect email addresses of your users or have them "send to a friend." The front end is designed and a database is built for you to capture and sort through the information. The pricing will be determined based on what you would like done.
   
   

Money

1. Explain the 1 year billing for adding extra features.
   All the additional features on top of a regular site will be billed an additional monthly fee only for one year. After that, there will be no additional billing and you still get to keep the features. Your welcome.
   
   
2. Explain what I will be paying.
   There are two grades.
   
   For $88 a month you get a 6-page site with content, images, and music (if you want). Domain registration, hosting, email setup, design, maintenance, support, consulting, site statistics, and search engine optimization.
   
   For $188 a month you get the same as above, as well as a Content Management System (CMS). A CMS gives you the ability to update your site at your will. There's an user friendly interface for you to change text and images on your site. If your site requires a lot of changes regularly, this would be a good option.
